Chocolate Pretzel Cupcakes
So, I found this recipe online and had to try to make it! (thank you www.cupcakeproject.com) OMgoodness, my house smells divine! You know that smell when you melt butter and add something sweet to it? That's what my house smells like, buttery sweetness! YUM!
Ok, so for these cupcakes. You start out by crushing pretzels and mixing them with butter and brown sugar, then bake them for 10 minutes. Then you cover the pretzel crust with chocolate cake batter and bake for another 20 minutes. my house smells so yummy! I haven't finished making them yet, but you then top the cupcakes with chocolate ganache and more crushed pretzel pieces and a small pretzel with a melted chocolate kiss.
I'll finish them tomorrow as well as make my favorite Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Buttercream Icing.
I hope these are good, it's a shame that I have just started a low-carb diet, cause I can't try them myself! I will know tomorrow night when I bring them up to church for our weekly Friday Night Fellowship.
